Wan Azizul Wan Yusoff, a Malaysian, aged 54, is a member (Chartered Accountant) of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA, UK).
He served Bank Negara Malaysia as Bank Examiner/Investigation Officer for 4 years from 1990 to 1993. He then joined Sime Darby Berhad as Assistant Audit Manager (Group Head Office) from 1994 to 1995 before he joined Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Berhad (TV3) in 1995 as Chief Internal Auditor. He was then appointed as General Manager, Finance and Corporate Services of Cableview Services Sdn Bhd, (TV Group company) from 1996 to 1998.
Since 1999, he has been a Director of OneZero First Corporation Sdn Bhd, a corporate consulting & accounting services firm. He has over 19 years experience servicing clients in various fields including company secretarial, accounting, auditing, taxation, operations & methods and project management services.
As a consultant, he was also affiliated with a few audit firms,namely Arthur Anderson, Atarek Kamil & Co and TAAT & Associates in performing various corporate exercises for clients.He had served as Independent Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee member of a few public listed companies, namely Nauticalink Berhad (April 2002 to July 2005), Nasioncom Holdings Berhad (January 2005 to Oct 2007), Satang Holdings Berhad (Dec 2008 to March 2010) and Ngiu Kee Corporation (M) Berhad (June 2011 to April 2012). During the years, he was involved in various corporate restructuring and business rehabilitation exercises of the listed companies, both at advisory or working committee levels.
